Cider is our apricot F1 Labradoodle. She is the dam of our medium and standard F1B and F2 labradoodle puppies. She had her last litter October 11,, a litter of F2 mini Labradoodles, with Didgi. She now is retired and lives full-time her guardian family. Cider is a very high-drive girl....high energy, high alertness, high play drive.....the kind of dog that would be perfect for hunting or search and rescue work. She makes the most intense eye contact you can imagine. Her temperament makes her a great companion for someone who loves the outdoors, running, hiking or backpacking. She loves the water and loves to retrieve in or out of the water. She does very well in obedience and will begin agility training this winter. Her weight, at 44 lbs, and height, at 21', make her a perfect medium Labradoodle. Cider's PennHIP test at 2 years of age put her in the 90th percentile....tighter than 90% of Labradoodles! Tight hips are what one looks for in medium and standard size breeding quality dogs. Her final OFA hip test was scored as 'Good'. Cider's OFA elbow test and her CERF exam are 'Normal'. She has also been certified genetically 'Clear' of von Willabrand's disease by VetGen. |
