They are social and pack oriented, and with proper training, your family will become their pack. Because of their intelligence, all Doodle puppies require consistent training throughout their first year. Labradoodles, Goldendoodles and Double Doodles are dogs that are able to observe that everyone has rules, and a place in the pack, and they need you to teach them THEIR place in the pack. A Doodle puppy without proper training will become frustrated and develop undesirable behaviors. They need human companionship and do not do well left alone all day every day unless they get plenty of attention in the evenings!
